The American Outlaw Doc Dalton Rides that Dusty Trail one more time and along the way comes back an Outlaws 4 Christ

His name is Doc Dalton but some know him as America's Favorite Outlaw due to his involvement in the fields of Pro-wrestling and television.
He is the former host of the weekly cable show, Body Slam on Drugs a program geared toward the youth in an effort to help educate them on the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. He did this show in association with a North Jersey Police Department and they received countless letters of support from such people as Governors, Senators, Congressmen, Police, Schools, Youth and Civic Groups.

The second hospitalization seems to have been the start of a turn around that put Doc on a new path or direction you might say. A doctor suggested to him that he should try his hand at poetry in order to maybe find away to release feelings that were being built up inside. States Doc, The truth is I thought he "The Doctor" was crazier than I was but it wasn't as if they were letting me out anytime soon so I said why not.

To his surprise not only couldn't he stop writing, but mostly everything he wrote was spiritual in nature and he hadn't any idea where it was coming from.

After being discharged from the hospital Doc continued to write and today has over 150 poems he has personally written.

The next step was going back to church but that was a little difficult for him until a friend told him about Maranatha Church of the Nazarene located in Paramus, New Jersey. Say's Dalton, it was more than a church, it felt like home. The people there are wonderful and the leadership with Pastors Charlie Rizzo, Jan Rizzo and Donald McCracken couldn't be any better. It's a church filled with music combined with the message followed up with a whole bunch of love and it is where I needed to be and still need to be.

Without telling anyone including his wife or daughter, Doc decided he wanted to make a stronger commitment to his faith and on August 13th, 2006 was baptized. States Doc, it was a great day, a great feeling and an even greater relief.

All these things brought about a meeting with two old friends, Len Azzarone a retired police officer and Co Producer of the Body Slam on Drugs show who is now the program director for WTOE Radio and Patrick Mirucki, President of VK Media & Internet Services and another Co Producer of Body Slam on Drugs Show. By the end of that meeting it was agreed to that these 3 old friends would be part of a new project entitled: Outlaws 4 Christ, a weekly radio show that would feature people from all different walks of the Christian lifestyle especially Indiependent Christian Artists.

Production began quickly but in a short amount of time stopped due to Doc being diagnosed with a disease called: Sarcoidosis. - Sarcoidosis is a global, potentially fatal inflammatory disease that can appear in almost any organ in the body which can be very painful. 9 months it took to fully recover and a return of the disease shortly thereafter was followed by another 3 months to recover. But through all this it hasn't slowed down the concept of Outlaws 4 Christ one bit.

States Doc, I received countless e mails of prayers and best wishes from folks I had talked to though the show that came from all over the Country. And this happen day after day, week after week, month after month.

So it been a bit of a long ride out on the trail, but when all is said and done, the trip just might have been worth it, yea it was worth it.

At what should have been relaxed peaceful time in his life, Doc walked away from it all do to confusion, unrest in his life depression and feelings he just couldn't get a handle on. Within a few short years the depression became so bad he was hospitalized on two separate occasions for the depression and being suicidal.
After all that, Outlaws 4 Christ has returned bigger and better. They are now working in association with a Nashville base company, Indie Heaven the largest company of its kind to feature and promote Independent Christian Artists. In addition they will start to air on WNJC 1360 AM in the Philadelphia market come this summer. And at this time the show is being Co Produced by both Len Azzarone and Doc Dalton.
